Helping a good friend sell his VERY large Blaauw kiln. When he placed the order about 9yrs ago, Blaauw told him it was the largest privately owned Blaauw in the States.

Interior chamber is:

90"H 67.5" D 63" W

Four burners in the ceiling and it uses the factory Blaauw software that runs on any PC. The iPad option can be added.

It has been extremely well taken care of...and looks nearly new. Fired mainly to cone 7 with gentle reduction about 10X a year, it is ready for some serious, high capacity use in its next life.

Blaauw quoted 150k for a 2023 retail price on it, and then you'd have to tack on ocean freight, import tax, and domestic tax...likely pushing the total price well into the 175k range...perhaps higher.

Price is 100k.

It comes apart in two sections for easier freight/moving. Domestic freight, handling/rigging will run you around 5-7k to move it, roughly.

It is in a private studio in Brooklyn, NY that can be accessed easily with large box truck.

Artist is beginning the process of moving to a new space and realizes that this will be a long road to find a buyer. It would be great if this can stay in the world of studio ceramics, but perhaps a commercial outfit is where it could be best used.
